So Many Things, So Much Time

Well, it has been a while since I last wrote a blog so I have sooo much to say. Well Two weekends ago, we went to El Valle and did a 3o min hike up a mountain and then we zip lined down it. It was awesone, we had so much fun, except for our guide was hitting on my friend the whole time even after she said she had a boyfriend. But other than that it was an awesome experience. Then after that we went and ate at a little B&B and it was awesome. It started to rain but it was so beautiful. Then, the next day, we decided to have a relaxing day, we got manicures and pedicures, and then we went to the movies. Not just any old movies, we went to the VIP theater and spent like $6 dollars on our tickets, and then before we went into the theater, we order some Bennigans. They brought it to us in the movie theater, with out long island ices teas. AWESOME, yes, I know. The best part about the theater though, was that we were in big reclining chairs, that we could practically lay down in, and there was sooooo much room. Soooo awesome. Maybe for a job I will own movie theaters and they have the vip theater where you get good foo. But it will be more than $6 to get in. Anyways, that was two weekends ago, and then this past weekend, we went to Bocas del Toro. We had suchs a blast, we stayed at a new hotel called Playa Toruga. It is a pretty new hotel and at the time, it was head quarters for a TV reality show. It was pretty cool to stare at what was going on in the room, but the receptionist had no clue what show it was. We had seen someone with a Real World shirt on so, we thought it might be for one of their competitions or something. Then we went to Starfish beach, and saw where they must have had a competition. So we werw trying out different ways we thought the game went, and we might totally be wrong, but we had fun with some fun pics. Well before we went out that night, we were at the hotel bar, and ran into some people who were talking about the show and asked them what show it was. Well, we had figured it out and they said they were with MTV and it was the Real World, Road Rules competition, but thats all they could say. Well, we told them we were at starfish beach, and it turns out, they were at the spot we were playing at. Wow crazy. Then when we were checking out of the hotel, I saw the hot host walking towards a car, and yes, I got to stare at him. But I didn talk to him, because we saw some of the crew at the reastaurant the night before and were making fun of some of them because they were goofy looking. Oh well, yes, I should have said something, but I was nice enough not to bother him. Yes, I am always considering others. Well, that is all for now. Until next time.

Bowling In Panama

So, Wednesy night we went out with some friends, and of all places we went bowling. If any of yall have ever heard my take on bowling you would kind of get the impression that, well to be nice I am just not fond of it. I think of it as more of a hobby than a sport (I think it's because I spent way too much time down in the WT bowling lanes for work). But, I decided to not a be a kill joy, and go and try to have fun. So we went bowling, and their bowling lanes are on the top floor of one of their buildings and it has a Bennigans up there with them. It was just the craziest thing I have ever seen in my life. When we got off the elivator there really wasnt much to see, it was a crapy wall, and then we turned the corner and started heading up a little ramp and then, I saw it, the bowling lanes. It was the craziest, coolest, nicest bolwing lanes I have ever seen in my life. There were onle 20, but, yes, there is a but, but, they had flat screen TV's for score keeping, 5 jumbo TV's that you could watch while throwing your ball, and the biggest bar that I have seen thats not in a bar. It was crazy, and then on the other side there was Bennigans. So, we got our shoes and went to our lanes, and instead of those ugly uncomfortable chairs, we sat in awesomely comfortabale leather sofas. It was crazy. So we sat down and then we had a Bennigans waiter bring us menus, so we had Bennigans for supper while bowling. Not the usual fatty fried stuff, that we have in the states, but Bennigans. How crazy. Instead of beer, we had margaritas, and awesome cocktails. Crazy. So we bowled for like 2 hours, and together for 5 people for the whole 2 hours, it was $40 plus $2.50 for shoes. I was like that is way cheap. We would have spent like that much each probably in the states. So, I said that to my friend, and she told me that only the rich can afford to go bowling or to the VIP movies because they are too expensive for everyone else. The VIP movies, which I was informed, cost about $6 (which I think is a little cheaper than the states) and whne your in the movie they brings you like hot restaraunt food, like hot wings, and you get to sit in like recliner chairs, so I will def have to go and check that out. And one more thing, which is, yes, crazy, they get to take the alcoholic beverages TO GO if they dont finish them, its like getting a coke or a tea to go. Hmmm, I am sure that would so not work in the states. Oh well, until next time.

College Chapter Done, Moving To a New

Well, as for those of you who do not know, I have moved to Panama for a month, or if you want to get techincal, I will be here till August 1. I am sooo excited to be here, yes, I am going to miss all of my Panhandle friends, and fellow Odessans, but I will try to have as much fun as possible to foget my pain, haha. (just joking, yall all have a special place in my heart). So, while I am here, I will be taking spanish lesson and hanging out enjoying the Panamanian life here. So far, I have decided it is a good place to visit, but not to live. If any of yall know how I am about other drivers and how annouying they are, will they are nothing compared to the way people drive here, they honk all the time which is annouying, and then they see that you are halfway through the intersection and they start driving towards you and stop an inch away from you car to let you pass, or they honk because they are pissed of because you cant move fast enough. I just think I should have brought the Ho down, and I would show them whats good for them, hahaha. Oh well, other than that I do love it here. It is just so interesting. To see how they live and work, and how their normal day is, compared to the tourist side where you really only see the good parts, and really dont have to worry about the language barrier. Being here will make me learn spanish, and when I get home I can order is spanish at mexican resturants and my food will always be perfest and never done worng, because Becca Rocks, (everyone should know that). Also, while I am here, my american phone is not working so I have another number, but, of course I am not that dumb to put my number on the internet, I will let everyone know soon. Well right now I am hanging out at the Embassy, so I will post another blog soon.
